Twitter IRCFrom NerdhausIn order to use the IRC channel to post to your Twitter account, you will need to enter your Twitter username and password here. You'll also need to set your IRC username to your first name (lowercase) in your IRC client when you connect to the server. You can set your nick to whatever you want, but your IRC username must be set to your first name in order to match it up with your Twitter username. Note: In order for all of this to work, your Twitter username/password must be stored in plain text in the database. While I won't use this for anything besides posting your tweets from the IRC channel, you should know that I may end up seeing this password at some point when using my server. I suggest that you change your Twitter password to something you don't use anywhere else, in case I do end up seeing it. Now that we have that out of the way... continue! Back to Twitter IRC Bot |
