Cointreau Oranges
From Nerdhaus
Ingredients
- melted butter, for brushing
- 4 medium oranges
- crème fraîche
- 2 tbsp agave syrup
- 2 tbsp Grand Marnier or Cointreau
- 4 tbsp butter
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F
- Cut four double-thick squares of foil, and place into a muffin tray
- Brush the center of each square with plenty of melted butter
- Peel all of the oranges, and remove the white stuff
- Slice each orange into thick slices crossways
- Stack the slices in the foil
- Mix together any orange juice caught while peeling the oranges, the liquor, and the agave syrup
- Spoon the mixture over the oranges
- Add a bit of butter over the top, then close the foil around the oranges
- Bake 10-12 minutes
- Serve in a bowl with the crème fraîche
